SOLON Corp., a crystalline silicon solar manufacturer and provider of turnkey solar power plants, has secured a contract from Rivermoor Energy and Fischbach & Moore, on behalf of National Grid, an international energy delivery company, to supply its solar modules for a 1 MW solar photovoltaic project in Haverhill, Mass.
Construction on the Haverhill project has begun by solar developer Rivermoor Energy and electrical contractor Fischbach & Moore. The project, which will be completed this fall, is designed to generate 1,016 kW of direct current power or approximately 1,300 MWh per year. Energy production comes from 3,696 SOLON ground-mounted panels on roughly five acres.
