SoloPower Inc., a manufacturer of thin-film solar photovoltaic cells and modules, has named Tim Harris president and CEO. Harris replaces Lou DiNardo, who has served as the company's interim CEO since July 2009.
Harris has over 20 years of executive experience. He most recently served as CEO and president at Celerity, which developed and manufactured high-precision capital equipment for the semiconductor and solar equipment industries. Prior to working at Celerity, he served as CEO at Komag.
