Soltec has finished a 1 MW photovoltaic plant in the Puglia region of Italy. The installation uses 17 of the company's single-axis trackers.
The SA60 trackers installed will produce more than 1,555,000 kWh per year and will avoid the annual emission of 850 tons of carbon dioxide. The use of Soltec's single-axis tracker provides yield gains of up to 25% compared to fixed installations with similar ground coverage, according to the company.
