Soltec Renewable Energies is expanding its Brazil factory to 1.5 GW per year.
The factory will supply the demand of the country and the rest of South America. This new factory in Brazil – and the two factories that the company already has in Spain and China – will increase the production capacity of Soltec from 1.2 GW to 1.5 GW per year. Also, new offices in Mexico and Peru will help to expand Soltec's presence in the South American region. ‘With the gained experience in Chile, we want to focus on our production in Brazil, where we are participating in competitive propositions for several hundred megawatts,’ says Raul Morales, CEO of Soltec.
