Solutia Inc., a performance materials and specialty chemicals company, has added several new executives. D. Michael Donnelly has been named executive vice president and chief operating officer, and Nadim Qureshi has been named senior vice president of corporate development for emerging markets and president of photovoltaics.
Donnelly, who most recently served as president and general manager of Solutia's performance films division, brings to the position nearly 40 years of manufacturing, business and leadership experience.
Qureshi, who most recently served as Solutia's vice president of corporate strategy and development, will identify opportunities for portfolio development, as well as near- and long-term growth opportunities in emerging markets. In addition, he will have global management responsibility for Solutia's photovoltaics business.
In addition, the company has elected Craig Ivey president and general manager of the performance films division, replacing Donnelly. Timothy Spihlman has been elected senior vice president of corporate strategy and analysis. Christopher Bray has been elected vice president and corporate controller.Â
