sonnen systems, a provider of solar PV tracker systems, has launched its new track_app offering, which consists of the track_app basic and track_app expert.
The track_app basic tool is an iPhone-based application for residential customers, and the track_app expert is designed exclusively for the iPad and is intended for large-scale installations. The track_app expert application allows users to monitor inverter output, weather data, motor currents, position angles and all other relevant data, delivered in real time on an easy-to-read display, the company says.
‘All relevant system information can be viewed effortlessly and remotely managed,’ says Jochen Marg, CEO of sonnen systems. ‘This all significantly lowers operations and maintenance costs.’
