Spartanics, a provider of software engineering and handling systems for manufacturers, has added barcodes that automate job changeovers to its Finecut laser die-cutting systems.

Other system features include automatic optimization of cutting sequences for faster web speeds, smart stop systems that monitor all fault conditions, automatic cut and stitch of larger images, and automatic save of all job conditions for one-step job setups, the company notes.
