States Logistics Services Inc. has completed a 363 kW DC solar power system on the roof of its distribution center in Buena Park, Calif. The system is expected to produce up to 82% of the distribution facility's electricity needs.
Developed, designed and installed by SPG Solar, the solar energy system consists of over 1,000 solar panels and is projected to generate over 560 MWh annually. According to SPG Solar, it will reduce State Logistics' electricity expenses by up to $76,500 annually.
