SPG Solar Inc. has appointed Thomas S. Rooney Jr. chief executive officer (CEO). Rooney brings to the company more than 25 years of experience managing large-scale and publicly traded companies.
SPG Solar's founder, Dan Thompson, will now move into the position of chairman of the board.
Prior to joining SPG Solar, Rooney was a noted speaker and consultant in the cleantech sector and served on a number of boards throughout Asia, Europe and North America. From 2003 to 2007, he was president and CEO of Insituform Technologies.
