Spire Corp., a global solar company providing turnkey solar factories and capital equipment to manufacture photovoltaic modules worldwide, has been recognized by the Boston Business Journal as one of the fastest-growing public companies in Massachusetts. The article ranked companies based on revenue growth from 2005 through 2007. Spire placed 40th on the list.
Spire was also ranked number seven in the Biggest One-Year Revenue Gains category. Spire revenues have grown over 90% from 2006 to 2007. Manufacturing companies make up only 14% of the top 100 Fastest-Growing Public Companies list, the company notes.
