Sputnik Engineering has expanded the length of its manufacturer's guarantee on its SolarMax string inverters to 12 years.
The standard guarantee for the four devices in the SolarMax S series (with nominal outputs from 1.8 kW to 4.6 kW) is currently five years. Within this period of time, SolarMax customers will now have the option of extending the term to 10 or 12 years.
The offer is valid retroactively for devices that were obtained on Jan. 1, 2009, or later, Sputnik says.
