The Solar Rating and Certification Corporation (SRCC) recently certified SolarHot's Solvelox Glycol OG-300 system and awarded the product with the second highest performance of any certified glycol system in its class.
The certification gives SolarHot the only integrated pumping package available in both drainback and glycol models, the company says. The system has now been certified for use with both evacuated-tube and flat-plate collectors.
‘We felt very gratified when we received the highest performance rating of any freeze-protected system in its class with our drainback system. Now we have a stellar performance rating on our glycol system as well,’ says Jeanette Gretsch, president of SolarHot.
