Standard Solar, Inc., a provider of development, installation and financing services for solar electric systems for commercial, government and residential customers, has named Rick Berube vice president of operations. He will oversee all aspects of the company's operations and procurement.
Prior to joining Standard Solar, Berube worked at Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, where he managed all aspects of a more than $200 million annual budget in support of the U.S. Navy's Trident II (D5) Fleet Ballistic Missile Program. Before that role, he taught military science and leadership development at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University. He also served as an aviation officer in the U.S. Army.
