Staubli Introduces TX200 Robot For Solar PV Manufacturing Applications

0

Staubli Robotics has released a new heavy-payload robot – the TX200. The TX200 and TX200L represent the next generation of standard- and long-reach, high-performance material-handling, featuring load capacities ranging from 100 kilograms to 130 kilograms and a maximum reach of 2,194 millimeters to 2,594 millimeters.

The company says these new robots have six degrees of freedom, a fully enclosed structure for easy cleaning and 12.5 meters/second high-speed motion. The robots are suitable for a wide variety of industrial and cleanroom applications, including material handling, palletizing, pick and place, and machine loading/unloading. All Staubli robots come equipped with the CS8 controller, which utilizes VAL3 programming language.

‘We have high expectations for the TX200,’ says Manfred Hubschmann, world sales manager at Staubli. ‘This new robot will be a great complement to our robot line in the 100-kilogram payload range, as it's very fast, precise, compact and reliable.’
