Strata Solar has installed nine utility-scale solar projects in North Carolina using more than $100 million of tax-equity financing provided by a subsidiary of Wells Fargo & Co.
Utility Progress Energy Carolinas will purchase the power. The three largest projects – Bladenboro, Wagstaff and Nash 58 – all exceed 6 MW in capacity. Strata says all of the projects are supported by a 35% North Carolina renewable energy tax credit.
