Strata Solar, based in Chapel Hill, N.C., has completed the 5 MW Kings Mountain Solar project in Cleveland County, N.C. The array consists of 22,000 PV modules.
Under a 20-year contract, Duke Energy Carolinas will purchase all of the energy and renewable energy credits generated from the site.
