Sulfurcell, a Berlin-based manufacturer of copper indium sulfide (CIS) thin-film solar modules, has initiated U.S. operations. The company says its full line of German-made CIS modules is now available in the U.S. for a variety of rooftop and building-integrated applications.
Sulfurcell's North American operations will be run out of new offices in Los Angeles.
The company plans to develop a network of system integrators and installers
throughout North America in the coming months.
Sulfurcell's IEC-certified modules were first made available to the European market in 2005.
