Sun-A-Ray Technologies LLC, based in Cedar City, Utah, has introduced the SAR-1026, a commercial-size 13 kW dual-axis tracker. The unit has a module surface area of 1,026 square feet and will accommodate almost any solar module.
The tracker's patent-pending design features multiple footing choices, including one that requires no concrete, making it ready for the tracker in one hour. The tracking system also allows the unit to return to the East during the night, making it ready to produce at the day's first sunlight, the company adds.
The company adds that its systems are designed to withstand 90 mph winds, are made of all steel construction with a galvanized finish (other finishes available for residential use) and offer a 10-year structural warranty. The systems are manufactured in the U.S., at a facility with an AWS D-1.1 Certification.
