Arizona-based Sun Valley Solar Solutions has contracted with PepsiCo to build a 1.7 MW solar photovoltaic project for the Gatorade bottling and packaging facility in Tolleson, Ariz.
System components include over 5,000 Canadian Solar modules, racking from Michigan-based Applied Energy Technologies and three Advanced Energy inverters. The project, which is scheduled to be operational by the end of the year, is expected to provide over 3 GWh of electricity annually.
