SunEdison and Arizona Public Service Co. (APS) plan to build a 10 MW photovoltaic solar power plant to be located two miles north of the Prescott Regional Airport in Prescott, Ariz.
SunEdison will own and operate the plant, and APS will purchase the entire output. The project is expected to become operational in fall 2011 and generate more than 25 million kWh of energy in its first year of operation.
