SunEdison Inc. has been selected as the exclusive solar energy provider for the 250 member school districts of California's School Project for Utility Rate Reduction (SPURR).
SPURR is a joint powers authority that saves its members money by pooling their purchasing power. SPURR's Renewable Energy Aggregated Procurement program finds and pre-approves qualified energy suppliers.
Any California-based school or community college can participate with SPURR.
