ReneSola Ltd. has shipped its scheduled module deliveries for the year to SunEnergy1, a North Carolina-based engineering, procurement and construction firm.
By the end of the year, SunEnergy1 will have completed 63 MW worth of projects that incorporate more than 210,000 ReneSola Virtus II 300 W and 305 W 72-cell polycrystalline modules. Array Technologies Inc. supplied its DuraTrack HZ tracking systems and DuraRack fixed-tilt ground mounts for the projects.
The projects include a 30 MW portfolio SunEnergy1 is building for Duke Energy Renewables.
‘Our cooperation with SunEnergy1 was a major driver of growth of our U.S. shipments in 2013, after entering the market only two years ago,’ says Kevin Chen, president of ReneSola America, adding that modules for a number of other U.S. customers will be shipped next year.
