Sungevity, an online residential solar provider, has added Alec Guettel as senior vice president of corporate development and Nick Mack as general counsel. The company has also appointed Skip Battle to its board of directors.
Guettel has been on the board of Sungevity since it was founded and is now joining the staff permanently to explore new market and growth opportunities. He comes to the company from Axiom Law.
Mack is a seasoned lawyer from the solar energy industry, having recently served as general counsel and corporate secretary of Mainstream Energy Corp., REC Solar and AEE Solar.
Battle currently serves as CEO of Ask Jeeves (now Ask.com), and is advising both Expedia.com and Netflix. He stills serves on the board of Netflix, is the chair of Fair Isaac & Co. board of directors and is on the board of OpenTable, which recently had a successful initial public offering.
