Suniva Inc., a U.S. manufacturer of monocrystalline silicon solar cells and modules, has expanded its manufacturing capacity from 96 MW to 170 MW by adding a third cell line at its metro-Atlanta plant.
The new solar cell manufacturing line is now in production, Suniva says. The company also expanded its workforce recently.
The company's cell production is sold out through the end of this year.
