Suniva Inc., a manufacturer of crystalline silicon solar cells, has appointed James M. Modak chief financial officer and J. Bryan Ashley vice president of marketing.
Most recently the CFO of mobile satellite communications company Datapath, Modak has nearly 30 years of experience in high-growth businesses. Throughout his career, he has led three public offerings, four sell-side M&A transactions and over 50 buy-side M&A transactions. He has also held executive-level roles at companies such as DWL and Tradex Technologies.
Before coming to Suniva, Bryan Ashley was director of industry marketing at IBM Software Group, where he led industry and sector marketing strategy and messaging, and was the chief marketing officer at DWL.
