Solar water heating technology provider Sunnovations Inc. has appointed Gregory Kats to its advisory board. Kats is president of Capital E, as well as senior director and director of climate-change policy at Good Energies, a global clean energy investor, where he leads the firm's investments in energy efficiency and green buildings.
In addition, he serves on the board of directors of Tendril, Sustainability Roundtable Inc. and the International Institute for Energy Conservation, and serves on the board of advisers of Serious Materials, CalStar Products, Cherokee Investment Partners and AlertMe.
Kats is a founding member of the American Council on Renewable Energy and the New Resource Bank, as well as the founding chairman of the Energy and Atmosphere Technical Advisory Group for LEED.
