SunPower Corp. has appointed Lisa Bodensteiner executive vice president and general counsel. She will lead the company's global legal organization, effective June 25.
Bodensteiner comes to SunPower from First Solar, where she served as general counsel for project development since 2009. At First Solar, she was key in creating the company's project pipeline and leading significant acquisitions.
She also served as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary at OptiSolar, where she led the effort to sell its project development business to First Solar. Bodensteiner has extensive power industry experience, including more than a decade at Calpine.
