SunRay Renewable Energy, an independent solar power producer, and SunPower Corp. have completed the Montalto di Castro solar photovoltaic power plant.
The plant, located in Viterbo, Italy, was connected to the grid several weeks ahead of schedule. This project is the first phase of a planned 85 MW development that is expected to be fully operational in 2010. SunRay and SunPower jointly managed the construction of the plant.
