Sunrise Energy Ventures (SEV) has been awarded a contract to construct three solar power plants of 10 MW each in Indiana for Indianapolis Power & Light Co. (IPL).
The power that SEV generates at these sites will be purchased by IPL under a 15-year power purchase agreement. According to the company, the installations, combined, will be the largest in the Midwest to date. Details on the construction schedule and expected date of operation have not yet been released.
