Residential solar firm Sunrun has hired Barak Ben-Gal as chief financial officer. Most recently, Ben-Gal served as vice president of finance at Support.com Inc., where he managed a variety of financial functions, including all external financial reporting, core accounting, tax and Sarbanes Oxley compliance functions.
Prior to his work at Support.com, he managed global change management efforts for Yahoo's operation finance team across 27 countries in four continents. He also spent three years as the budget director for the Oakland (CA) Unified School District, managing the district's financial operations.
