Sunrun has expanded its relationship with Itron and will implement Itron Total Solar in order to streamline solar monitoring capabilities for customers.
Itron Total Solar combines production measurement and managed services for solar photovoltaic generation.
Itron's services team will run, manage and maintain its solar offering for Sunrun, including the collection, storage and validation of solar PV production data via a 4G LTE cellular network. The production data and analytics services will be made available to Sunrun through a secure, cloud-based infrastructure and application programming interface.
