Suntech Power Holdings Co. Ltd. has launched the Suntech 300W Vd series, a new solar module for the Israeli market.
Powered by Suntech's SuperPoly processing technology, a silicon casting and wafering process that produces high-quality multicrystalline wafers, the module achieves up to a 15.5% conversion efficiency, according to the company.
The product is a 72-cell module consisting of six-inch black square cells. The module features a +/-5% power tolerance and low oxygen content, leading to strong resistance to light-induced degradation, Suntech says. The product is ideally suited for rooftop installations, where weight, power, and aesthetics are key customer considerations, the company adds.
