Suntech Power Holdings Co. Ltd. and EDP Renovaveis have signed a contract for Suntech to supply 39 MW of its polycrystalline solar panels.
The modules will power four new photovoltaic projects under construction in Romania that will be connected between late 2012 and early 2013. The companies have not yet revealed additional details on specific project locations or other companies involved with the development and construction.
