SunWorks Solar Systems and VELUX America have signed an agreement to offer VELUX solar water heating systems throughout northeast Florida. According to the companies, the agreement enables homeowners to benefit from high performance and aesthetically advanced solar water heating systems.
‘Installing an attractive VELUX roof-integrated system reduces a home's water heating expenses 80 percent or more,’ notes David Smith, president of SunWorks Solar. ‘VELUX solar water heating systems have been designed to be aesthetically pleasing and integrate well with all types of rooflines, utilizing the same leak-proof flashing as their roof windows.’
VELUX solar water heating systems from SunWorks Solar are now available starting at $7,000, which includes installation. Systems can be installed and fully operational within one day, the companies add.
