Sustainable Energy Technologies Ltd. says that its SUNERGY inverters have been installed on the largest building-integrated photovoltaic system in Greece. The 50 kW installation will provide power to the new Athens Mall in the city's Saint Dimitrios suburb.
The system was developed, designed and installed by Sustainable Energy's partner, A.C.E. Power Electronics SA, a Greece-based power electronics provider.
Sustainable Energy Technologies notes that its SUNERGY inverters allow shading loss to be minimized and do not require the electronics to be installed behind the facade or in the roof canopy. The inverters' operating temperature range is -40 degrees C to 50 degrees C, the company adds.
