Swinerton Renewable Energy has launched SOLV, a monitoring platform designed to manage the operational needs of solar plants.
SOLV provides automation of service management, plant controls, advanced diagnostics, trend analysis and custom reporting functions and is designed to make the management of solar operations processes simple, the company says. SOLV manages the full life cycle by providing seamless management and transition between seven outage resolution steps: alarm detection, issue identification, personnel notification, response and prioritization, service repair, parts management and vendor escalation.
By the end of the year, Swinerton will have built a dozen utility solar plants in the U.S. and Canada, generating more than 160 MW of solar energy, and has been contracted to run SOLV on all sites.
