Tata BP Solar India Ltd., an India-based solar firm originally formed as a joint venture between Tata and British Petroleum, has changed its name to Tata Power Solar Systems Ltd.
As part of a restructuring, Tata Power Solar is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Power. In addition, the company has named Ajay Goel CEO. Goel brings to the position more than 20 years of industry experience, including five years in the North American solar sector.
