TE Connectivity, formerly Tyco Electronics, has announced that its HM high-tack metalized polyester and HW high-tack white polyester labels have received UL recognition for use on the backside of solar panels with typically PVF or PVA surfaces.
The company says HM and HW labels, which are now rated to 125 degrees Celsius, provide clear identification for serial numbers, approvals and other necessary information. HM labels suit applications that require a metal look, such as rating plates, and the HW labels are for use with bar-coding, electronic PCB and general labeling applications, TE adds.
