Tecta Solar has completed the installation of a 1.87 MW rooftop solar photovoltaic system in Whitinsville, Mass. The company says this is the largest rooftop system in the state.
Tecta Solar managed the design, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of the project. The roofing division of parent company Tecta America replaced the roof prior to the installation of the solar modules, so a system warranty could be issued to the owner.
To date, Tecta Solar has installed more than 5.6 MW solar PV systems in Massachusetts, according to the company.
