Amtech Systems Inc., a supplier of production and automation systems and related supplies, says its solar subsidiary, Tempress Systems Inc., has received approximately $5.3 million in new solar orders.
The orders, which were placed for Tempress' diffusion processing systems, will be supplied to an unspecified solar company in Asia as it embarks on a new multi-hundred megawatt capacity expansion. The systems are expected to ship within the next six months.
