Tempe, Ariz.-headquartered Amtech Systems Inc. – a global supplier of production and automation systems and related supplies for the manufacture of solar cells, semiconductors and silicon wafers – says that its solar subsidiary, Tempress Systems, Inc., has received approximately $6 million in solar orders for its diffusion processing systems from two new customers in Asia.
The orders are for multiple systems for each customer and are expected to ship within the next six to nine months.
