XsunX Inc. says it has narrowed its selection for its manufacturing operations in Oregon to two suitable buildings and has engaged facility and manufacturing system design teams to evaluate each building.
In preparation for the establishment of its thin-film solar module manufacturing facility, XsunX staff and design teams have been evaluating existing on-site support systems, studying manufacturing floor-plan usability and analyzing facility improvement costs.
‘We are working to finalize these efforts so that we may complete our lease negotiations as soon as possible,’ says Joe Grimes, chief operating officer for XsunX. ‘Our plan is still to secure a building to house our thin-film solar module manufacturing systems by the end of March, and that's what our team is working diligently to accomplish.’
