Tigo Energy, a provider of DC output maximization technologies for photovoltaic solar installations, has appointed John Niedermaier chief financial officer (CFO).
Niedermaier joins the Tigo Energy team with more than 30 years of experience as a senior executive in technology and service organizations, primarily in telecommunications. Prior to joining Tigo Energy, he served as executive vice president, chief operating officer and CFO of LGC Wireless Inc., orchestrating the company's sale to ADC Telecommunications in December 2007. He remained at ADC to lead the LGC business unit after the transaction.
Before joining LGC, Niedermaier served in executive CFO roles at Jetstream Communications Inc. and SCM Microsystems Inc., where he took the company public in 1997.
