Total, a France-based international energy group, will build a factory for PV module production and assembly at Composite Park in France's northeastern region of Moselle.
The plant will house two production lines for a total capacity of 50 MW, representing about 220,000 photovoltaic panels per year, the company says. Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2011, and the first line is expected to be online near the end of that year.
