Changzhou Trina Solar Energy Co. Ltd., a subsidiary of Trina Solar Ltd., has released a new utility-scale solar module: TSM-PC14. The company will formally unveil the new TSM-PC14 in May at Solarexpo 2010 in Verona, Italy.
The utility-scale module is Trina Solar's most powerful module to date and is targeted to be available for sale in the European and North American markets in the fourth quarter of this year.
With expected power output targets ranging from 265 W to 290 W, a positive power tolerance of 0/+3% and a 72-cell arrangement, the large high-wattage modules are designed specifically for utility-scale installations and large-scale ground-mounted systems, the company says.
