Trina Solar Ltd. has completed the redemption of its outstanding convertible senior notes due this year. With the completion of this redemption, the company says it has no outstanding convertible debt.
In July 2008, Trina Solar issued $138 million worth of senior notes. The company began repurchasing its outstanding notes during the fourth quarter of 2011. As set out in Trina Solar's first quarter earnings report, approximately $84 million of the notes were outstanding as of March 31. The company says all have now been redeemed, together with all accrued but unpaid interest.
