Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) will break ground on its first solar cell manufacturing plant by the end of this year, BusinessWeek reports.
TMSC's board of directors has approved a $218 million investment for the factory. The company has not provided further details about the new factory.
