TUV SUD says it has been awarded a contract to provide quality assurance services for a large-scale photovoltaic project in India. TUV SUD will deliver end-to-end support, from initial plans to commissioning.
India's state energy supplier, Maharashtra State Power Generation Co. Ltd. (MahaGenco) will erect the photovoltaic power station, which is expected to have a total capacity of 125 MW, in Shivajinagar, Dhule district, Maharashtra, India.
Two different technologies will be used for the power station: 75 MW of the capacity will be produced in three blocks using crystalline silicon PV modules, and 50 MW in two further blocks will use thin-film modules.
