Cologne, Germany-based Ubbink Econergy Solar GmbH, a manufacturer of solar photovoltaic mounting systems, has changed its name to Renusol GmbH.
According to the company, the decision was prompted by the upcoming expiration of its rights to the Ubbink name. Additionally, the new name is expected to provide increased brand recognition in growing non-German solar markets in Europe.
Renusol's main products include ConSole (a flat-roof system), VarioSole (a sloping-roof system) and Intersole (a mounting system for roof integration).
