Unirac, a provider of infrastructure for solar power systems, has achieved the International Organization for Standardization's ISO 9001:2008 certification for its quality management system.
According to the company, this voluntary achievement demonstrates Unirac's commitment to quality-of-service standards and lets customers know that the company adheres to documented processes and procedures that ensure ongoing improvements in delivering global customer support.
ISO 9001:2008 certification represents an international consensus on good management practices. It ensures the use of effective processes, which are consistently monitored and continually improved, with the aim of ensuring that an organization can repeatedly deliver products and services that meet customers' quality requirements, Unirac says.
Unirac began the ISO 9001:2008 certification process early this year.
